Honeymoon-day 1- July 25, 2023

Chris and I are beginning our married journey on the road. We headed north on day one of our road trip, ventured through Indiana, and stopped to view a few covered bridges along the way. We also stumbled upon a hidden gem in the historic brick plant in Medora, Indiana.

“The Medora Shale Brick Company was founded on August 2, 1904, and began producing brick in 1906 from a site constructed southwest of the town of Medora adjacent to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad line. The hills surrounding the site contained a ready supply of clay for brick production.”

We ended the evening with swimming and primitive camping at Wolfe’s Leisure Time Camping. Their campground was lovely and the primitive spots were right on the river with adequate privacy and separation from the RV area. We highly recommend them if looking for tent camping.
