The Casey County Fair June 9, 2012

Last night, I attended the Casey County Fair in my hometown of Liberty, Kentucky. An event to which I have never made an appearance, in all my years as a Casey County residence! I also entered a few photos in the fair this year. Something else I have wished to do but have never MADE the time. I was thrilled to learn that I received a first and second place ribbon, along with a small cash prize. You can see the photos I entered in the fair by clicking on these links:

Here is where I kill the second bird, so to speak. Last month, I photographed another carnival and haven’t had the time to post it on my blog. I attended the Chesapeake Jubilee back in May and took a few photos of the ferris wheel. I was traveling to Chesapeake, Virginia with Rob-a-Que, blogging about the BBQ competition. I was delighted to have a great opportunity to practice night photography with the combined motion of the ferris wheel!
