The Weddle & Murphy Family Portraits

Here I depict another amazing photo shoot with an awesome friend from high school, Danielle Murphy Weddle (aka Dani). Our friendship goes way back to our B-ball days in middle school; we have remained close ever since. Look at her now! She is a loving wife and mother of a gorgeous little girl, Ava! Danielle is married to the handsome Neal Weddle; the three together make the most amazing family. Watching them almost makes me feel like a “grown up.”

Any time children are involved in a shoot, it is a bit more unpredictable. I always go with a list of shots I have in mind. However, working with a two year old…my shot list went out the window shortly after I started. The youngster started running the show and I must admit it turned out pretty amazing anyway. She was a bit camera shy at first and really didn’t like being separated from her mommy and daddy AT ALL! Nevertheless, the moments I captured in her natural element look phenomenal. Ava is simply stunning with her captivating brown eyes peering back. Sometimes simply going with the flow is exactly what is needed. I managed to obtain a few of my planned shots, but mostly I captured candid moments of Ava playing with her mommy and daddy. Neal and Danielle were amazing during the shoot and showed such love and devotion to their daughter. It is evident that they are wonderful parents, and Ava certainly reciprocates their adoration.

We also shared part of the shoot with Ava’s grandparents! It was a wonderful family affair with Danielle’s mom and dad, Renita and Jeff Murphy as well as Neal’s mother, Kathy Weddle. It was a day All About Family and I hope everyone had fun. I know I sure did!
