Boston’s GreenFest

While out and about running some errands and snapping a few photos last Friday afternoon, I happened upon Boston’s GreenFest, the region’s largest multicultural environmental festival. The festival, organized by the Foundation for a Green Future, Inc, is a celebration of how we can strive to live environmentally friendly green lives. There are many opportunities to become informed about living greener including displays of new clean inventions and technologies. Farmers sell their organic fruits and vegetables. Each day of GreenFest offers a wide variety of entertainment for adults and children, from live music and dance performances to the informative GreenFilmFest series. Of course you will not go hungry if you decide to stop by next year since they feature yummy food from all cultures. I enjoyed a scrumptious Indian Samosa on Friday; then when I decided I had to take a second peak at GreenFest on Sunday, I decided to try the scrumptious Jamaican Jerk Chicken.
