The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky
Last weekend, I spent some much needed quality time with my grandparents, Lonnie and Sara Hodges, in Lexington, KY. My papaw is also one of my photography mentors, so we enjoy taking photo adventures together. Since the sky was shining bright with some puffy clouds, the three of us decided to pack a quick lunch and head to The Arboretum State Botanical Garden for a photo extravaganza. According to their website, the Arboretum began in 1991 and consists of 100 acres of trees and plants. The Arboretum is a great place to enjoy getting your exercise, with plenty of walking paths and endless beauties to encounter while you walk. This is most definitely one of my Top 10 Local Allure: KY.
